Improving Access with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)Aylesbury Central PCN are working in partnership with Hanley Consulting (local digital healthcare experts) to roll out EDATT, known to you as patients as your ‘Digital Assistant’.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can play a vital role in supporting digital transformation in primary care and PCNs. RPA can assist with demand and capacity requirements helping at its basis to automate repetitive and basic clinical processes to free up resources to focus on higher value tasks and more complex needs for greater benefit of patient care.
The Digital Assistant offers automated digital support to patients from the telephone call queue and other digital channels such as practice websites and the Aylesbury Central facebook page.
Patients are guided through to completing their administrative or clinical task digitally – making your tasks simpler and much quicker to action without the need to wait in the call queues. The digital support assistant can also guide you through to downloading and using digital tools such as the NHS App, online triage solutions and digital forms.
We are already seeing fantastic results across our member practices, and will share this data in the coming months.
